Samsung twists screens whenever possible: TVs, watches and, of course, smartphones. After the Galaxy Round, which - remember - not appeared on our market in the official distribution, it is time to experiment with the device's version of Galaxy Note 4 - Note Edge is another idea to Samsung to develop a great series tablets.
Edge is very similar to Note 4, so those who are interested in the performance, the camera or software refer to my review SGN4. In the case Note Edge will focus instead on the Korean innovation, that edge screen and its functionality. First, however briefly about the differences separating Note 4 and Note Edge. Asymmetric Edge casing makes the unit is slightly wider than the Note 4. Yes, the setting is an option to rotate the screen 180 degrees, but it looks rather average, and in addition there is a warning that some applications may not work properly. First on the screen edge we set icons important for our applications, and even embed whole directories, which not only is very convenient, but also much faster to use - a move the thumb frees us from undue "gymnastics", which in the case of large screens has critical. On the screen edge you can set your most important contacts assigning each phone number, which greatly simplifies the operation. Of course we can add more belts - some of them can be found in the settings, while others - Galaxy Apps. One option: the bar with the weather, where there are also notified. It is also very useful application bar S Health, sports bar with information about the results of your favorite teams trends with Twitter, stock market information, or even ... a simple game. After more than two weeks of tests, I am convinced that the Galaxy Note Edge is a great device, perhaps the best of the entire series phabletów Samsung. But I am also aware of the fact that its advantages (or even a whole host of advantages - in addition to the innovative edge, including construction, software or finally a great camera) will appreciate the rather few. The more that the device is expensive - high price of a derivative costly in the production of new technology and at the same time limited availability.
