LG G5 Specs, It Comes with Modular Design, 4GB RAM, Snapdragon 820 and Removable Battery

MWC 2016 in Barcelona, LG has officially presented their brand new flagship device, the LG G5 smartphone. If you are looking to know more about this release and its specs, then you should check all the info listed in this post.

The new LG G5 smartphone is one of the first important Android devices that will get rid of the app drawer, as LG is looking for a more streamlined OS experience. Also, the LG G5 is the first Android device that comes with modular design, one that allows users to remove its lower part and replace it with a Camera or Audio module. The LG G5 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and 4GB RAM. Also, the Adreno 530 is the new graphics processing unit. The MicroSD card slot has been relocated and now it has been joined with the microSIM card tray. Also, another big change that you will see in LG G5 is the presence of a secondary camera on its back. The cameras on the back are measuring 16MP and 8MP respectively, and you will also get OIS support, LED flash and Laser autofocus. The front-facing LG G5 camera measures 8MP and it is capable of filming at 1080p@30fps.

The LG G5 battery size might not be the biggest, but LG has said that it can get 83% charge in under 30 minutes thanks to the new Quick Charge 3.0 technology. You should know that the LG G5 is also capable of using two SIM cards at the same time, as you can remove the external microSD and replace it with an additional SIM. The LG G5 body dimensions are: 149.4 x 73.9 x 7.7 mm, and it weighs no more than 159 grams.

The device’s availability and price haven’t been released at the time this article was posted, but we expect the LG G5 to be ready for purchase sometime in March / April 2016. Also, note that the LG G5 is available in four different colors: Titan, Pink, Gold and Silver.
